Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of RecallR — the mobile app and this website. They are written to be read, not to be skimmed past. Using RecallR means you accept them.
1. Who this agreement is with
RecallR is operated by the team behind tryrecallr.com. If you need to reach a person, email support@tryrecallr.com.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to that inbox — anyone who can read it can get into your account.
RecallR is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to use it.
One account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in code.
3. What RecallR does — and what it cannot promise
RecallR photographs your notes and uses AI to turn them into flashcards, then schedules those cards for revision.
The cards are generated automatically and can be wrong. A model can misread handwriting, mislabel a diagram, or state something confidently and incorrectly. Check anything that matters against your textbook or your teacher. RecallR is a revision tool, not a source of truth, and it is not a substitute for your syllabus.
Practice tests, predicted scores and readiness estimates are approximations built from your own review history. They are not a prediction of your real exam result, and nothing in RecallR is endorsed by or affiliated with NTA, ÖSYM, or any examination board.
4. Subscriptions and billing
RecallR is free to use. Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription, sold monthly or yearly. The exact price is shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- It renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can view, manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
- We never see or handle your card details. Apple and Google process payment entirely.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. We will help you where we can, but we cannot issue a refund ourselves.
Sharing a deck is free and stays free. If we ever change what the free tier includes, the change applies going forward — it will not remove cards you have already made.
5. Your notes stay yours
You own everything you upload and everything RecallR makes from it. You give us permission to store your pages and to send them to our AI providers for the sole purpose of making your cards. That is the whole of the licence, and it ends when you delete the content.
Sharing a deck creates a public link. Anyone with that link can open the deck without an account. Only share decks you are happy for others to read.
Upload only material you are allowed to. Your own notes, your own handouts, pages of a book you own — fine. Republishing someone else’s copyrighted material through a shared deck is not, and we will remove decks reported to us for that.
6. Things not to do
- Do not resell RecallR, or access it through anything other than the app and this site.
- Do not try to get around the free-tier limits, extract our prompts, or use the card generator as a general-purpose AI service.
- Do not upload anything illegal, or anything designed to attack our systems or other users.
- Do not scrape shared decks in bulk.
If you do these things we may suspend or close your account. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first.
7. Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. It is immediate and it removes your notes, your cards and your files. An active subscription still has to be cancelled through Apple or Google — deleting the account does not cancel it.
We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we ever shut RecallR down, we will give you notice and a way to get your decks out first.
8. No guarantees
RecallR is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will never be wrong, never go down, or never lose a scan. We do not guarantee any exam result, score, or rank.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app rather than quietly editing this page. Continuing to use RecallR after a change means you accept it.
